The Jolly Waggoner, Ardeley - The Jolly Waggoner is a traditional 18th Century pub, located in the heart of the picturesque village of Ardeley in Hertfordshire. Serves food, but we would suggest booking a table to ensure the kitchen is open. Dog and family friendly both inside and outside. 1.6km walk.
The Bull, Cottered - Sitting back from a busy country road in a lovely village setting, The Bull presents a warm friendly atmosphere. with many rustic features. Dogs and children are welcome but in the garden only. 1.5km walk along the road, or 1.85km on footpaths (the safest route!).

The Cricketers, Weston - A gem of a pub in the village of Weston. The highlights are the woodfired pizzas and the huge pub garden with a playground and outside bar. Muddy boots, children and dogs are always welcome.

The menu is mainly based on small plate dining, ideal for sharing and grazing with friends. Brunch menu also available. You might also be tempted by the cocktails and fine wines!

Eight, Baldock - The perfect place for a quiet meal with your loved one, a family get-together for Sunday lunch, or a delicious cocktail at the bar. The owner is passionate about supporting local producers and the food and drink are delicious!
El bar de Tapas, Stevenage - an authentic tapas bar serving freshly made, wine and specialist Sangrias. Delicioso!
Golden Siam, Stevenage - Authentic Thai cuisine, cooked by some of the best Thai chefs in the area. Great value lunch menu.
