Events and activities on your doorstep
During August, visit our beautiful insta-worthy PYO Sunflower Patch, and treat yourself to a coffee and homemade cake from the Harestreet Brew Box, our delightful mobile coffee shop.
For a taste of local history, take a short stroll to the Cromer Windmill—Hertfordshire’s last remaining windmill and just a stone’s throw from the barns.
Craving a bite to eat or a local tipple? You can walk or cycle to two friendly village pubs and a nearby farm shop stocked with delicious local produce.

What happens on a working Farm?
As a working arable farm, there’s always something going on throughout the seasons. From cultivating and planting to harvesting, guests can witness real-life farming in action. More often than not you’ll spot a tractor on the fields, and if you're here in summer, don’t miss the hypnotising spectacle of the combine harvester at work.
While we don’t offer tractor or combine rides (our number one priority is keeping guests safe!), there are plenty of fantastic local farms where you can get hands-on. For example, Church Farm in Ardeley is less than a mile away and offers a great experience for all ages.
